<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" ><tr><td valign="top" style="font: inherit;"><span style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline;">Woman charged with maliciously spreading HIV</span><br>Sunday, 14th March, 2010<br><br>An 18-year-old woman in Kitgum town has been charged with malicious infection of an infant with HIV.<br><br>Its alleged that Judith Atim on the 3rd of March this year,drew her blood contaminated with the Virus that causes AIDS and injected it into a two-year-old daughter of her neighbour.<br><br>According to the charge sheet Atim, said to be living with HIV/Aids, used syringes to inject the infant well knowing her status.<br><br>She denied the charge and the chief magistrate; Amos Kwizera gave her a non-cash bail of 300,000 shillings.<br><br>She returns to court on the 7th of April this year.<br><br>http://www.newvision.co.ug/D/1/10/712880<br><br><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; font-weight:
